During the visit, Chairman Balogun emphasized his administration's commitment to environmental sanitation and community development, which aligns with his campaign promises. He addressed market leaders on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and shared plans to enhance sanitation systems in the market and throughout the local government area. The ceremony, which commenced at 12:00 pm, lasted for approximately an hour and a half. In attendance were notable leaders from Abeokuta South, including APC party executives, former assembly members, and other dignitaries. During the swearing-in ceremony, the Chairman emphasized the importance of unity within the local government, urging members of the executive and civil servants to work collaboratively to achieve outstanding results. The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun, has announced the reappointment of Hon. Mustapha Kodaolu Olajide (MKO) as the Secretary to the Local Government. Hon. Mustapha, a seasoned administrator and grassroots politician, previously served as Secretary in the last local government administration. His reappointment underscores his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to public service. Prior to his appointment, Hon. Kodaolu had a successful career as a businessman in the energy sector. A native of Abeokuta South, he has also served as a Councillor and Leader of the House, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role. This appointment is expected to bolster the local government's efforts in delivering effective governance and development initiatives to the people of Abeokuta South.
