ABEOKUTA SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT APPOINTS NEW SECRETARY


The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun, has announced the reappointment of Hon. Mustapha Kodaolu Olajide (MKO) as the Secretary to the Local Government.


Hon. Mustapha, a seasoned administrator and grassroots politician, previously served as Secretary in the last local government administration. His reappointment underscores his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to public service.


Prior to his appointment, Hon. Kodaolu had a successful career as a businessman in the energy sector. A native of Abeokuta South, he has also served as a Councillor and Leader of the House, bringing a wealth of experience to his new role.


This appointment is expected to bolster the local government's efforts in delivering effective governance and development initiatives to the people of Abeokuta South.

Looking ahead, the council has approved and commenced the construction of a 1.3-kilometre road in Kuto, Abeokuta, as part of its ongoing infrastructure development drive.

ABEOKUTA – July 10, 2025 In a renewed demonstration of his administration’s commitment to improving basic education, the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon.
