BALOGUN CONGRATULATES ADEOLA YAYI ON EMERGENCE AS APC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE

The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez (BOA), has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), CON, FCIA, on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.


In a statement released on Tuesday, Hon. Balogun described the development as a testament to Senator Adeola’s exemplary leadership, vast experience, and unwavering dedication to public service. He noted that the senator’s emergence reflects the confidence reposed in him by party stakeholders and members, as well as his consistent commitment to the progress and welfare of the people.


The Chairman further stated that Senator Adeola has, over the years, distinguished himself through impactful representation and a strong passion for grassroots development, qualities he said make him a worthy choice to lead the party into the forthcoming gubernatorial election.


Hon. Balogun expressed optimism that the milestone would usher in greater development, unity, and prosperity in Ogun State under Senator Adeola’s leadership.


While wishing him success in the journey ahead, the Chairman also prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the APC flagbearer as he prepares for the task ahead.


He concluded by reiterating his congratulations to Senator Adeola on what he described as a well-deserved emergence

In addition, health insurance coverage was provided for commercial motorcycle riders (Okada operators) and elderly residents, further demonstrating the administration’s commitment to social welfare. Looking ahead, the council has approved and commenced the construction of a 1.3-kilometre road in Kuto, Abeokuta, as part of its ongoing infrastructure development drive.

ABEOKUTA SOUTH CHAIRMAN DISTRIBUTES FURNITURE, WRITING MATERIALS TO SCHOOLS

ABEOKUTA – July 10, 2025 In a renewed demonstration of his administration’s commitment to improving basic education, the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez, on Wednesday paid a working visit to two public schools within the local government area, where he distributed furniture and writing materials to pupils.
