BOA Meets Itoku Market Leaders, Warns Traders on Delayed Dues

Abeokuta, July 11, 2025 —  The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez (BOA), has called on traders at the popular Itoku Market to promptly settle their market dues or risk having their shops locked up. The chairman made this known during a meeting with market leaders and stakeholders held at the Local Government Secretariat. The delegation was led by the Iya Loja of Itoku, Chief (Mrs.) Olufunmilayo Ayorinde. Hon. BOA emphasized the importance of timely payment of ground rent and other statutory levies by market traders. ABEOKUTA – July 10, 2025 In a renewed demonstration of his administration’s commitment to improving basic education, the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez, on Wednesday paid a working visit to two public schools within the local government area, where he distributed furniture and writing materials to pupils. The beneficiary schools were Baptist Primary School and Ijaye Community Nursery and Primary School, both located in Abeokuta. Hon.
