BOA Meets Itoku Market Leaders, Warns Traders on Delayed Dues
Abeokuta, July 11, 2025 — The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez (BOA), has called on traders at the popular Itoku Market to promptly settle their market dues or risk having their shops locked up. The chairman made this known during a meeting with market leaders and stakeholders held at the Local Government Secretariat. The delegation was led by the Iya Loja of Itoku, Chief (Mrs.) Olufunmilayo Ayorinde. Hon. BOA emphasized the importance of timely payment of ground rent and other statutory levies by market traders.
