Eid-il-Adha Celebration: Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez (BOA) Showers Sallah Gifts on Constituents

Balogun Olaniyi Afeez (BOA), Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, has extended goodwill to members of his local government by distributing over 200 bags of rice, more than 100 rams, and several cash gifts. The gesture was aimed at supporting Muslim faithfuls to mark the important Islamic festival with joy and ease. The distribution, which took place ahead of the Eid celebration, was coordinated through trusted representatives across the local government area. Rather than organize a public event, Hon. Afeez opted for a structured approach, ensuring that party leaders, community representatives, and group heads received the items on behalf of their respective beneficiaries. ABEOKUTA SOUTH BOOSTS REVENUE DRIVE WITH NEW BRANDED VEHICLES

 By Damilola Adekanlu In a strategic move to enhance its revenue generation efforts, the Abeokuta South Local Government has commissioned a fleet of branded vehicles dedicated to revenue collection. The vehicles were officially handed over to Necad Nero, a consulting firm led by CEO Mr. Nurudeen Adenuga, to support the Local Government’s drive for increased and transparent revenue collection. The commissioning ceremony took place at the Local Government Secretariat in Ake and was attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Chief (Mrs.) Oluranti Ogunjemilusi, who represented the Chairman. In her remarks, Hon. Ogunjemilusi described the initiative as a commendable step that will curb revenue leakages and improve accountability. “The provision of these vehicles will strengthen our revenue systems, ensure transparency, and reduce inefficiencies,” she stated.
